I am catching up with posting online my articles.
This is the continuation of the previous article:
DOUBTS OF THE THERAPISTS - HELP OR NOT TO HELP ? - PART 1
DOUBTS OF THE THERAPISTS - HELP OR NOT TO HELP ? - PART 2
DOUBTS OF THE THERAPISTS - HELP OR NOT TO HELP ? - PART 3
So as I write my articles about the "Doubts of the therapist" it all becomes clearer to me of how I should approach my job as a responsible therapist. And thus today I came to the realization that the point that I need to avoid is the thing with "mass therapy".
What is mass therapy ?
Well... this is my own phrase but within this I refer to the therapists who treat up to 1200 persons a week. If you are not in the field of therapies then you may not realise that this is A LOT of people. On hand I need to say this is something very impressive and it shows to me that these therapists are literally geniuses in what they are doing. But there is another very important point which they are missing. And this is that they don't look at the cause of the problem and just like most of the doctors they treat the symptoms.
And thus it became clear to me that I should not become a therapist who only treats the symptoms but instead I need to assist people in identifying the cause of the problem and show them if necessary how they may correct it themselves. And once people correct the problem within themselves then it is a completely different story.
Why ?
Look... our whole system in which we live in is designed in such a way where we pay someone money or we buy the medicine and expect the results without doing anything ourselves. And now by getting people to do things themselves they start to shake the foundations of the current system. And then seeing the results people get empowered within themselves and this is another killer for the current system of treating the symptoms.
So this is another important point and realization within myself. All I need to do is to avoid situation when I get blinded by the money and I treat as many people as possible by treating just the symptoms. So this is my responsibility as a therapist. If I follow this guideline I am contributing to the change in this world for better. Otherwise I am only contributing to the destruction and abuse which unfortunately prevail this reality in this moment.
P.S. It is interesting to see how this article has evolved. In the beginning I did not know how to bite it but at the end I have got to the point of clarity.
