You'll know... there are few other exercises which could strengthen your eyes and probably help you to prevent buying new or get rid of glasses completely. The exercises are not difficult to do but still most of the people will not do them as we are mentally lazy and we chose the "easy" way, which in the case of humans is going to the eye doctor and getting a pair of glasses.
Now... there will be cases when all of these exercises will not be effective or they will only give a relatively small improvement. And so then you could go to the eye doctor but still you should consider that there could be other ( "deeper" ) issues within you which affect your eyesight. Here I am talking about the emotional issues. Let's say that as a child you have seen something really terrible and/or shocking and in this emotional state you have made the decision within yourself that you do not want to see these terrible things. And so with the time you will forget about this decision which you made but still you will start manifest weakness in your eyes. And one day when you are an adult you will go to the doctor but he will not be able to find any reason for your weak eyesight and so he will prescribe you a pair of glasses.
