I am catching up with posting online my articles.
This is the continuation of the previous article:
So... let's back to the eyes and glasses.
One of the things about eyes is that the movement of the eye balls is regulated by the muscles ( see the image ). And that simply means that once the muscles don't function properly then we will have problems with the eyesight. This is just like any other muscle in the body. Over tension or weakness in the muscles disturbs the balance in the body which manifests itself as pain, ache and restriction in free movements. And then the idea is that some of the eyesight problems would be relatively easy to fix with exercises which would strengthen the muscles.
Apart from that as massage therapists I have realised that many of the pains in the body result from lack of synchronization between antagonist muscles. That means that on movement ( e.g. flexing an arm ) one muscle contracts and the opposite muscle must relax. If the antagonist muscle does not let go then we have muscular pain. And because we also have antagonist muscles in the eye then this rule must also apply to problems with the eyesight. Thus doing some eye exercises correcting this problem with the antagonist muscles could already be enough to get rid of the glasses.
But this is only one of the possible causes. So let's investigate other possible issues with the eyesight just using common sense and logic.
