Well... yes... it is possible. There are still people living in the bush and they don't use money at all. And the animals can also organise effectively their lives without money.
But is it possible that "civilized" humans living in the cities could live without money ?
In theory this is possible. I know that there are groups which try to promote the idea of living without money ( e.g. Zeitgeist Movement ) but practically this is going to be a very hard thing to do.
The reason for it is that the functioning of each individual person in this system is dependent on other people. Many of us believe that they are independent and they describe themselves as such person but in reality they are not.
Look... How many people are involved into making and preparing such a simple thing as bread ? Many... apart from the farmer and the shop attendant we have many people "in the middle" who contribute to the moment in which this independent person may put a piece of bread into the mouth. Thus you'll see... this independence is just an illusion/belief created within the mind of a person and based on the fact that this person can buy a loaf of bread with own money.
LOL... but even money that you have in your purse and which give you the sensation that you are independent is not your own and having depends on many other people. Can you see it ? Thus stop saying this bullshit that you are independent !!! Because you are not.
Thus you'll see... in theory it would be possible to organise this whole process of making and distributing bread to each individual without money. Yes... all that we need is an agreement that everybody will do the same job as they do now but without money.
