I am catching up with posting online my articles.
This is another experiment of mine and very interesting by the way. And it is interesting because I have never though that I will get to the point where I will not eat bread. I am almost 40 yrs and there are only very few days in my life ( apart from first years of my life ) when I did not eat bread at least once a day. I remember that I have asked myself few times about what would I eat if there was no bread and it was difficult for me to imagine it.
Stop here for a second and try to think about what you would eat if there was no bread... ???
Thus I have continued to eat bread every day all my life. I knew for a very long time that whole meal bread is healthier and better for my body and thus I have eaten white bread only when there was no other option.
In the last couple of years it was brought to my attention the problem with grains ( mainly wheat ) which have been modified genetically ( GMO = Genetically Modified Organism ) and that eating it has negative effect on our bodies. But like most of us I have heard about it, I have read about it on internet many times ( mainly on Facebook ) and I have continued my life and eating bread every day without doing anything practical about it.
But then one day a friend of mine who is a specialist in natural and alternative medicine has shown me through the test that eating bread is actually putting stress on my body instead of nurturing it.
Now... as far as I know GMO grains are not allowed in Europe yet but my friend has explained to me that there are also other reasons why eating bread is not beneficial for me - it could be yeast, preservatives and other additives - which are being added to bread during the process of making it. Thus all of this has made an impact on me and the way I think about bread. But at this moment I still have not stopped eating bread completely for the simple reason that I didn't know what else I could eat. I am not a great cook and this was also big factor in postponing the moment of not eating bread.
Anyway some weeks later I have started new program at the gym with the intention to build more muscles and burn fat. And here came another impulse to think about eating bread...
To be continued...
