I am catching up with posting online my articles.
Many of the farmers today are complaining that the soil has been greatly depleted of the nutrients and it is ever more difficult to grow new foods and thus they justify the use of the chemical supplements. But unfortunately we don't realise that using these chemicals is actually treating the symptoms and not the cause of the problem.
And where is the problem ?
The problem is that we don't give back to earth what we have taken from it. Thus we take foods but we don't give it back to earth anymore.
What do I mean here ?
For example... there is a lot of food which we waste in our kitchens and which ends up being enclosed in the plastic rubbish bags and taken to the waste collection places. And this way it doesn't get back to earth but instead it is being literally locked away for some decades until the plastic bag decomposes.
Can you start to see the problem ?
It all should be put back to earth so that it could be recycled and reused by the earth but instead it is being locked away in plastic bags and containers for some years and decades and also it is being mixed with other toxins, which will make it unusable sometimes for even hundreds of years if not longer.
This whole process of taking food from earth, using it and later giving it back to her should be relatively short but instead we continue to take more and more and don't give it back or we give it in a form which is not possible to use for some years, decades and even thousands of years.
This form of relationship where we take and take and take more without giving is not going to last for long and sooner or later we will pay a big price for it.
Thus all the organic waste from our kitchens and toilets is the food for the earth. But unfortunately instead of giving earth this healthy and nutritious food we give her the chemicals. We can already see what is happening with our bodies when we eat chemicals and plastic foods - we are fat and sick. And the same is happening with earth. Earth is also getting sick.
Thus are you still going to complain that the soil is getting depleted of the nutrients ?
Now you know why. So do something about it.
I have already seen in Germany that people do collect the organic waste and people and farmers use it in their gardens. Thus at least we have some good examples that this is possible to do.
