Catching up with posting online my articles because of being busy with work. I am witting my articles every day as part of my commitment... just posting is lagging...
I was just thinking today that if all the people who pray, go to church, read the bible at home, listen to the religious TV and radio programs, would do instead something practical like helping poor, homeless, those who have are hungry etc. then probably there would be no more need to pray to god to help us anymore because we would fix most of our problems ourselves.
Thus why don't we do it ?
Yeah... good question !!!
Answer it for yourself...
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that god will listen to my prayer and will help me instead of me looking and investigating what I can do practically myself to solve the problem myself; within this I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that I am giving self-willingly my power away to somebody that I believe within my mind can help me and through this I allow the problems to continue to develop and make my life difficult.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I am powerless and god is the only one who can help me with my problems; within this I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that I have allowed myself to accept this belief about being powerless within my mind and later I have made myself to believe that this is real and through this I have self-willingly given my power away to solve the problems myself.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the longer I pray the better are my chances that god will listen to me and help me and make my wish ( subject of the prayer ) come true; within this I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that this is a self-made belief which doesn't coincide with the facts of reality, which show that the prayers are not effective - starvation, poverty, abuse, war etc.
