I am catching up with posting online my articles.
I think that today this is going to be quick.
Thus I have been in a situation with my friend who has been brought to the point where she needed to face some deeply rooted emotional problems. And I was there listening to her saying that she does not know what to do. And she was crying repeating that she does not know what to do.
Now... I saw that she was stuck being blinded by the emotions ( e.g. helplessness ) and she did not have the clarity of what to do. I suggested that she should breathe and simply observe the things that are happening with her. But this did not get to her despite me repeating it few times. I was breathing myself to show her through example but this was not getting to her either because she got stuck in the state of feeling helpless.
Anyway the whole point is that the state of helplessness is an illusion of the mind. I simply know what it does not matter where we are and what kind of situation we need to face there is always a breath with us and our body. And it is us who decided to breathe or not to breathe. If we breathe then we can regain our clarity and then quiet often we can find a constructive solution to basically any situation.
It is so simple.
