I am catching up with posting online my articles.
Today I have got an update on my patient's condition. This thing will still take some time but it looks like the things are moving forward. And then I also met another patient which I have attended couple of weeks ago. Today I saw her smiling and she almost wanted to cry out of happiness. She does not have any more pains in her shoulder and she feels much better. And no surprise because couple of weeks ago when I saw her she was on the edge of crash with possible serious consequences for her health.
So what was the key to the success ?
First of all I did not do the massage on the painful place ( most of the massage therapists as well as physiotherapist would do it this way and the doctors would probably prescribe the pain killer ) but instead: - I talked with the client to identify any possible causes of the problem, - then I corrected and adjusted the posture and the alignment of the body, - I shown the patients the exercises which they were supposed to do at home, - we identified underlying emotional issues ( with the use of kinesiology muscle testing ) and I advised the patients that they need to correct it within their life.
And so I see that this approach to treating the people is very effective. I do not always see the exact cause of the problem right away but it comes later once we remove the superficial layers.
On the contrary I had also possibility to treat other people who unfortunately were not open to the fact that their problems have cause of emotional nature and thus the traditional treatment with the massage was little effective.
And then I also had a case of a woman who presented pains in her back but there was no involvement of emotions. Simply she overstretched her body in the yoga class and she pulled her sacrum out of place and later it affected the knee. And then simple massage with gentle manipulation fixed the problem instantly.
It gives a lot of satisfaction seeing that my therapies work. But then cannot even say that I do the therapies. Because in the end it is the patient who does the work with themselves. I simply assist them with the advice and I do the massage. Anyway it is great to see the smiles on the faces of the people.
