I am catching up with posting online my articles.
Since last week have one of my friends is staying with me in my apartment as she came for holiday here. We have really good contact and understanding of each other and so we spend relatively a lot of time on conversations about various topics. And during these conversations we came across the Feng shui.
For those who do not know what Feng shui is I say quickly that it is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure health and good fortune for people inhabiting it. Before the practitioners of Feng shui start doing anything with balancing the energies of any place ( building etc. ) they study and investigate many elements - the cardinal directions ( north, south, west, east ), placement on the hill, closeness to the water etc. Then they also investigate the inside of the building and after doing all of these studies they go onto process of balancing and optimizing it for the person inhibiting it.
To balance the energies the practitioners of Feng shui rearrange the furniture and place certain decorative objects ( painting, crystals, mirrors, lamps etc. ) in strategically important places ( e.g. entrance, exit, corners ) so that the energies are either accelerated or slowed down accordingly to bring balance in their flow through the house, office etc.
