I am catching up with posting online my articles.
This is the continuation of the previous article:
21 DAYS OF SELF-DISCIPLINE - DAY 1
21 DAYS OF SELF-DISCIPLINE - DAY 1A
This is the day 2 of my experiment with the self-discipline. This was an interesting day. If I look at it I could not say that I was very productive today. But at the same time I did something very important. It is something that I have been struggling with for 2 years. Here I am talking about experiment with the sleep. So this experiment with the sleep goes hand in hand with the experiment with the self-discipline.
So while having commitment for 21 days to keep with the self-discipline I had no other choice but do what I knew that I should be doing about the sleep.
And in the end I slept 17 min last night. Yes... just 17 min the whole night. I know that somebody could say that this is crazy but well... maybe you are right but I do what I know that I should have done already long time ago.
Anyway sleeping 17 min was not enough to give me the complete freshness for the rest of the day and so I had a nap around the midday for less than 2 hours and then I got some sleep late afternoon for about 45 min. So we are talking altogether about having 3 hours of sleep.
Of course this is just one day and one night and if I do not achieve the same results in the next few days then it basically means nothing. So we will see how it goes tonight.
Now... cutting 6-7 hours of sleep to 3 hours would indicate that I had 3 hours more to do some things for myself ( e.g. my responsibilities ). Well... theoretically yes but then we need to remember that myself and my body need to adjust to new situation ( which may take some time ) before I will be able to use this time effectively. For now I was kind of tired and I did not spend this time effectively on doing my responsibilities.
But still I see it as a big step in my process.
