I am catching up with posting online my articles.
I do not want to say that this plastic coating on apples is toxic and poisonous as I have no evidence to prove it. But one thing is certain and that is that an apple from the tree and a shiny apple from the supermarket will not be digested by the body in the same way. And that simply means that "nutritional value" of an apple with the plastic coating is lesser as the skin of the apple is saturated with indigestible plastic and it cannot be used by the body.
But then there is also another important point which needs to be taken into consideration. Look... although this plastic coating is indigestible and thus by logic it should leave the body ( with the stool ) it does not mean that some tiny bits of it will not stay inside. Again using the logic I would say that as long as there is not much of it then our body should be able to cope with it somehow. But if somebody eats a lot of apples ( because of the believe that this is healthy ) then the accumulation of the plastic may indeed become toxic and dangerous for health.
As I said... I do not have scientific evidence of it but then at the same time there is no point of ignoring common sense and logic just because we don't have this scientific proof.
