I am catching up with posting online my articles.
And what are the practical solutions to the problem with clothes ?
Should we stop wearing colourful clothes ?
It there was no other solution and the pollution would threaten the survival on this planet then obviously this would be the obvious thing to do. But there is no need to go for such a drastic and extreme cuts as I know for sure that there is a way to produce clothes with the use of clean technologies.
But obviously this will not happen if humans continue to be unaware of what is happening in this world and live the happy life believing that ignorance is bliss. Ignorance can give you an impression that all is perfect but only for a short period of time. But sooner or later it will bite your ass and you will scream so that they will hear you on the other end of the world.
So how do we make humans aware of what is happening in this world ?
Well... here comes the education system. The best would be if this topic would be introduced in the early years at school but apart from this we have TV and radio programs and of course there is internet. So education system is crucial part of it because otherwise we will not do anything to change it as we will not know that something needs to be changed.
You'll know... the things with pollution are obvious. Because once you see dirty river next to the factory of clothes then you know that this shit comes from there.
But what about if you do not live close to the factory ?
Personally I am into supporting clean technologies and protecting the environment but I never thought before about the thing with colour dyes for the clothes being such a disaster for the environment. It is simply because I don't live close to the factory. But now I know because I saw the video on Facebook. And now I can change it because I am aware of the problem.
So what will I do now ?
Well... I will try to choose clothes which are made with the use of clean technologies. And obviously I will continue to support the organizations ( e.g. Equal Life Foundation and their proposal of Living Income Guaranteed ), which work towards the change of the current system, which is focused on the profit and completely ignores the environment.
