I am catching up with posting online my articles.
It's been already couple of years since my last visit to Poland. And you'll know... being away for longer period of time from a place and not seeing people allows to see easier the changes which happen in that time.
So... one of the things which really struck me during my visit this time is massive amount of advertising of medicine, pills, supplements etc. on TV. But this is not just about the amount of advertising but also about how they are made and with which intentions. Well... from the technical point of view as well as the marketing point of view they are made very good and they will generate good profit for the manufacturers of these pills but the problem is that at the same time they will create a lot of long term health problems and not only for many people.
Why do I say it ?
Well... these ads give an impression that once you take medication then your health problems will disappear completely, that you will be happy and that you will be able to continue your life as normal. And for common people who suffer with pain and who are sick it is very tempting to go to the pharmacy and then buy it. I understand that it all has been tested and researched very well by doctors and best scientists and in most cases the person will probably feel better after taking them but in the end it is all about treating the symptoms.
