I am catching up with posting online my articles. I moved to a new place and I was without fixed internet access for almost a month. I was also very busy with work and that is why I got this big delay with posting online. Though I did not skip a single day with writing my articles.
Before I start writing about the solutions I need to mention one more point about why I associate the "normal" competitive behaviour of the corporations with the war. I have already mentioned that this behavior carries within itself an essence of war and when many people get used to it as something normal then it is really not that much to consider war as something "normal" as well. You may think that I am exaggerating but in reality I am not. I have observed this pattern within the behavior of people many times. I will give you one simple example. When somebody lies for the first time then s/he usually feels at least uncomfortable about it but then if somebody does it very often then it all becomes very normal. And the same happens with soldiers. At some point killing somebody is normal. And this is why I connect the behavior of Spanish companies with the war.
Thus what is the solution to it ?
First of all I ask myself a question why the big corporations with huge financial resources like Movistar dedicate the money towards fighting and trying to "kill" the competitors instead of improving the customer service and in general the quality of their services ? You'll see... if they treated me really good then I would think of going to another company. I would stay with them for many years. But now instead I will finish my contract with Movistar ( even though I will have to pay fie for breaking the contract ) and I will come back to them unless I have no other choice. It is all simple but yet the management of the Movistar prefers to spend money on fighting their competitors and within that they create series of consequences as I have mentioned it before. Improving the customer service is a peaceful solution and it doesn't create friction nor pain or suffering. It may be more costly in the short run but it will pay off greatly in the long run while the other approach of fighting the competition and treating their customers bad will give them short term benefit and profit but in the long run they will lose a lot.
Anyway... I have been considering what should I do within this whole situation because I don't want to pay the penalty for breaking the contract. Thus at first I thought that I stay with them until the end of the contract and then I would change the company. But then I thought that I should do everything possible on my side to not support in any way whatsoever the company which supports and applies the techniques of war. Because if I support them then I also support war and I am responsible for all the consequences. Thus my decision is to finish the contract with Movistar ( even though it means paying the penalty ) and not to give them my support. There is no need for me to get angry and emotional and try to fight them. I did it already in the past and in the end I lost and I had to pay more money for it. Movistar and other corporations are almost untouchable because they have money to pay for the best lawyers and I am not in this position of doing it. My emotions and anger will not win with the monster who is obsessed with the money. But I can stop using ( peacefully and quietly ) their services and stop supporting them.
To be continued...
